NCM has been given permission by the Norwegian Authorities to act as the employer for both Norwegian and foreign seafarers. This permission enables the Owners to transfer such responsibility and maintain a much higher flexibility in connection with possible variation of their fleet. However, by organizing our principals in individual groups NCM will still be able to promote the necessary loyalty among the sailors toward the individual Owner.

As of today NCM supplies crewing for approximately 40 vessels, where Chemical, Product, Oil-Tankers, Juice Carrier, Bulk, Container, RoRo, PCC, Multipurpose Liners and Wood Carriers are represented. In addition we have, both onboard and ashore personnel with extensive experience from LPG and OBO vessels.

By extending its activities beyond the Principals crew requirements, NCM extend its interface within the crewing marked, which enable the company to provide and maintain a stable and competent basis of officers and ratings. All employed officers and ratings are qualified in accordance with the STCW 95 requirements.

Based on the individual Owner’s/Principal’s requirements, additional training is being performed at the various international approved training institutes.

Quality Assurance System

NCM’s Quality Assurance Systems have been approved by DNV, both for “Crew Management Office” and ISO 9001:2000 Certification. Our Quality Assurance system is implemented with our subsidiaries, foreign divisions and crew agents. It is also adopted by our principals with regard to vessel personnel matters.
